About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services across acute care and long-term care settings. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including a large geriatric population.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dietitian experience
- Experience in acute care and/or LTC settings
- Ability to float between facilities as needed
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical environments
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Required
- Active Florida License – Required
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide medical nutrition therapy in acute care and/or long-term care settings
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on nutrition-related topics
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
