About The Position

Nutrition that Works, LLC is seeking a consultant dietitian to join our team. This opportunity is serving a long-term care community located in Oxford, MS for 8-24 hours/week, onsite. Highlights of this Role: Facility Type : Short-term rehab and long-term care Start Date : ASAP Hours: 8-24 hours per week (onsite, during normal business hours) Rate : Commensurate with experience. NTW provides above average RD hourly rates. Experience : LTC and MDS experience preferred, not required. Training and refreshers provided. EMR : Matrixcare (training provided) Position Type : 1099 contract position

Requirements

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the CDR
• Licensed to practice in Mississippi (must be active prior to start date)
• Must pass a pre-employment screening process, including background and health checks

Nice To Haves

• LTC and MDS experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Completing nutritional assessments and maintaining documentation
• Documenting with the Nutrition Care Process in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care plan team
• Calculations and recommendations for tube feedings and wounds
• Completing MDS including Section K and Section V (CAA's)
• Maintaining confidentiality and patient information in accordance with HIPAA
