Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for all residents
- Ensure therapeutic and regular diets meet clinical and regulatory standards
- Monitor weights, intake, supplements, and overall nutrition status
- Review labs and document changes as needed
- Provide 1:1 education to residents and families
- Collaborate with Nursing, Speech, OT, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in care plan meetings and clinical discussions
- Maintain NYS compliance and registration requirements
