Schedule: M-F The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to patients who are recovering from an eating disorder, including educating patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs. How you’ll serve our patients: A Day in the Life of a Dietitian - YouTube As a clinical professional at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CPR

Responsibilities

  • Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders by assessing nutritional status, establishing a meal plan necessary to improve nutritional status and continuing to evaluate patients’ response to the plan.
  • Provides individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or families to establish and achieve nutritional goals
  • Completes documentation of interventions, individual and family sessions and meal plans
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate treatment plans. Attend team meetings, and team rounds and serves as the nutrition expert resource
  • Facilitates experiential groups, which may include restaurant outings, food preparation and cooking groups (as applicable), as well as assist in providing meal and snack support and supervision
