About The Position

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide quarterly menu review and approval services for a correctional facility in Missouri. This is a remote, low-hour commitment role, ideal for dietitians seeking flexible, supplemental work. All services are provided remotely, and the dietitian must be licensed in the state of Missouri.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Active Missouri dietitian licensure (required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable with remote/telehealth-based work

Nice To Haves

• Experience with menu review and nutrition analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and approve facility menus on a quarterly basis
• Ensure menus meet applicable nutritional standards and guidelines
• Review menus and accompanying nutrition analysis provided by the client or food service vendor
• Provide feedback or recommendations as needed to ensure compliance
• Communicate professionally with RD Nutrition Consultants and facility representatives as required
• Maintain documentation related to menu approval
