About The Position
The Registered Dietitian (RD) plays a crucial role in providing coordinated nutritional support for residents in a long-term care facility. This position involves collaboration with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to assess and address the nutritional needs of residents, particularly those at high risk due to significant weight changes, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions. The RD is responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, participating in care plan meetings, and ensuring compliance with sanitation protocols in the kitchen.
