About The Position
As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a pivotal role in the health and wellness of clients in the RecoverED program. This is an opportunity to create customized nutrition plans that significantly improve clients' physical well-being. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri.
- Organized and able to manage competing priorities.
- Collaborative team player in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Proven ability to establish positive working relationships with health professionals and to advocate for integrated care.
- Able to follow direction and accept supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred prior experience working with individuals with diverse functioning abilities or mental health concerns.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition assessments and provide personalized nutrition counseling.
- Identify disordered eating behaviors and implement related nutrition interventions.
- Provide nutrition education in group settings using evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Collaborate with an integrated care team, including agency and partner members, to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate staff on nutrition topics related to various physical and mental health conditions.
- Develop patient education materials in compliance with health literacy standards.
