Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations and Certified Dietary Manager, the Dietitian provides consultation to the facility for the purpose of providing nutrition care which will result in optimal health of the patients and residents. Responsible for nutritionally assessing patients and monitoring their nutritional care as well as for care and proper use of materials and equipment for provision of food service in the institution. Work with the Certified Dietary Manager to meet the nutritional needs of the organization and the Food and Nutrition Services Department This job description is intended to identify some of the primary duties and responsibilities.
