About The Position

Join a mission-driven healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to diverse patient populations. This role offers the opportunity to support both inpatient and outpatient care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary providers. As a Registered Dietitian , you will serve as a clinical expert in nutrition, providing assessments, care plans, counseling, and education that directly impact patient health outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics (ACEND-accredited program)
• Active Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (RD/RDN)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical nutrition experience
• BLS (AHA) required
• Experience in MNT for chronic diseases and nutrition education

• CDCES certification (Diabetes Care & Education Specialist)
• 3+ years of inpatient or clinical nutrition experience
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Passionate about improving patient health outcomes

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for inpatients and outpatients
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver counseling/education
• Tailor nutrition plans based on medical needs, intolerances, and patient preferences
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for high-risk and complex cases
• Provide in-service education for nursing, medical staff, and healthcare personnel
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to care planning
• Complete food service quality assurance checks
• Deliver community nutrition presentations as needed
• Support accreditation activities with reports and documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned
