About The Position
Come join the team at WeCare at Sycamore ! WeCare at Sycamore is actively seeking a motivated Dietician for our community in Montoursville, PA. Our Dietician is a responsible to assure the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.
Requirements
- At least 1 years' experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
- Must be a Registered Dietitian.
- Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
- Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
- Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
- Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
- Excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Will assist Dietary Manager in all operations of the dietary department as needed
