Reporting to the Chief Medical Office and/or their designee, the Dietitian/Nutritionist is responsible for developing and coordinating the nutrition programs for Total Health Care (THC) medical centers. They must also assess nutritional needs of the patient population, develop therapeutic diet plans, and teach the effects of nutrition on health. Contacts and interactions vary and may involve multiple constituencies such as direct interaction with THC’s executive management, community organizers, the general public, THC’s patients, physicians, colleagues, assigned staff, vendors, contractors and consultants for the purpose of providing and exchanging information.
