Requirements
- Diet Technician Registration/Certification required.
- Completion of an Accredited Dietetic Technician program required.
- Current registration as a Dietetic Technician through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
- Minimum of one (1) year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics preferred.
Responsibilities
- The registered Dietetic Technician (DRT) will be responsible for providing screening to patients in the inpatient setting.
- The DTR will work closely with registered Dietitians and will assist with providing diet counseling and education to both patients and families.
