About The Position

The Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer/Echocardiography Technician will be responsible for obtaining high quality cardiac Echocardiograms on pediatric through adult age patients, which are ordered by medical Providers. The tech will also perform Stress Echocardiograms as well as Atrial Doppler Vascular studies as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• BLS Certificate

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Department Director and Administrative Support to assure proper schedules
• Maintain supplies and equipment
• Work with Biomed Department and notify pairs needed to Department Director
• Charge and document procedures accurately and follow through by completing the right paperwork
• Perform emergent studies timely and accurately
• Notify providers of an emergent findings
