About The Position

Advanced Periodontics Implant Center in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a part-time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist. The office is committed to providing a supportive environment where patient care and clinical excellence are top priorities. The role involves performing thorough dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, screenings, educating patients on oral hygiene, taking digital X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with Doctors and the Office Manager to ensure a seamless patient experience. Adherence to all OSHA and HIPAA safety and compliance standards is required. Requirements

1–2 years of dental hygiene experience
Current state license as a Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of periodontal practices, instruments, and infection control
Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach
Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
Valid California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Nice To Haves

Specialty experience a plus
Familiarity with Dentrix software preferred
Laser certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and screenings.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized treatment plans.
Take high-quality digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with the Doctors and Office Manager to ensure a seamless patient experience.
