Requirements
- Current Dental Hygiene License in the state of Ohio.
- Proficiency in taking and interpreting digital X-rays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage with patients.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide preferred.
- Experience with dental software and modern technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Assess patients' oral health and collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Take and review dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing oral health conditions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy smile.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in dental management software.
- Provide a positive and comfortable experience for every patient while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
