As a Dental Hygienist at Moore Smiles, you play a critical role in preventive care, patient education, and treatment co-diagnosis. You’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to deliver exceptional experiences while helping patients understand the why behind their oral health.

Requirements

Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Perform thorough adult & pediatric prophylaxis appointments
Take and interpret digital X-rays
Complete periodontal charting and assessments
Educate patients on oral hygiene, gum health, and treatment recommendations
Identify periodontal disease and assist with treatment planning
Administer local anesthesia (if licensed)
Apply fluoride and preventive therapies
Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
Support hygiene production and reappointment goals
Build trust and rapport with patients of all backgrounds
Maintain a clean, organized operatory and follow all infection control protocols
