About The Position

Permanent position for RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist in a San Leandro, California general office. We are a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Requirements

• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license

Responsibilities

• -Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
• -Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
• -Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
• -Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients
