About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our wonderful team at our growing dental practice under NEW ownership in Oakland, NJ. This opportunity comes as we say a heartfelt goodbye to our beloved current hygienist, who is relocating out of state, leaving behind a loyal patient base and a team that truly values the role of hygiene in delivering exceptional care. Our office is built on strong relationships, efficient systems, and a positive, team-oriented culture. We take pride in providing high quality patient-centered dentistry in a supportive and modern environment. Job Details: The office is open 4 days a week: Monday through Thursday. (Closed Friday, Saturday & Sunday!) Schedule: Mondays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Competitive hourly rate based on experience Friendly working environment Three day weekends Benefits available for full-time team members
Requirements
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in NJ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a passion for patient care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dental software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Take X-rays and assist with patient assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed
- Work closely with the dentist to provide excellent patient care
