About The Position
Choosing a career in community healthcare is highly rewarding. Come join a dynamic and diverse team at LifeLong Medical Care as a Registered Dental Assistant working out of our Berkeley Dental site. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the smooth flow of procedures performed by dental staff. The Registered Dental Assistant will assist the dentist in all phases of dentistry, including taking diagnostic intra-oral x-rays, performing coronal polishing and prophylaxis, and managing patient behavior during treatment. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position represented by SEIU-UHW, with salaries and benefits set by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). An employee in this position must remain a member in good standing of SEIU-UHW, as defined in the CBA. LifeLong Medical Care is a large, multi-site, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a rich history of providing innovative healthcare and social services to a wonderfully diverse patient community.
