We are seeking a Stellar Dental Assistant to join Glint Dental Studio in Austin, TX! This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team where your contributions will be vital to the growth and success of our practice. As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will play a crucial role in creating an amazing culture where our entire team loves coming to the office each day. If you are passionate about providing quality dental care and promoting oral health, we want you to be the welcoming face of our office and a vital member of our team. In this role, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and maintain impeccable organization for inventory control and infection control. We are looking for someone who is selfless in their care for others, flexible and accommodating for patients, and a true team player. Consistency in cleanliness, timeliness, and service is essential. You will also have the opportunity to master assisting with cosmetic dentistry, simple restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, Invisalign, and some extractions. Additionally, you will take and develop digital dental x-rays, maintain and update patient dental records, and administer fluoride treatments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and a valid Registered Dental Assistant license. Proficiency in medical documentation and terminology, knowledge of anatomy and X-Ray procedures, and an understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy are required. CPR Certification is also necessary. While Nitrous Certification and familiarity with Oryx electronic health records system are appreciated, they are not mandatory as we will provide training.
