Requirements

• cpr or bls
• rdaef license

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Perform extended functions in accordance with state regulations, which may include:
• Placing, contouring, and finishing direct restorations
• Taking final impressions for crowns, bridges, and appliances
• Placing retraction cord
• Applying sealants and fluoride treatments
• Fabricating and adjusting temporary restorations
• Take and develop dental radiographs
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols
