Requirements

• Current or pending Registered Dental Assistant Expanded Function License.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• Proficiency in assisting with restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
• Experience in taking digital x-rays and alginate impressions.
• Ability to document in electronic health records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dentrix Enterprise or other versions of Dentrix.
• Experience with Dexis digital x-ray software.
• Experience with iTero digital scanning or similar.
• Experience performing Zoom teeth whitening.
• Experience assisting other dental specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general dentist with restorative and cosmetic procedures.
• Fabricate temporary crowns and bridges.
• Pack first and second cords for retraction.
• Take digital x-rays and alginate impressions.
• Pour and trim stone models.
• Fabricate Essix appliances and other in-office oral appliances.
• Document and chart in electronic health records/digital charts.
• Work collaboratively in a large team environment.
