What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be capable of participating in business development activities to grow the low voltage telecommunications team at Lighthouse Electric.
Requirements
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification (A MUST), in good standing
- Knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective.
- Up to date on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies and design/construction industry.
- In depth knowledge of structured copper and fiber optic cabling (voice & data).
- 3+ years of relevant RCDD experience
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with network topologies, and IP network protocols preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
