What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be capable of participating in business development activities to grow the low voltage telecommunications team at Lighthouse Electric.

Requirements

  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification (A MUST), in good standing
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective.
  • Up to date on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies and design/construction industry.
  • In depth knowledge of structured copper and fiber optic cabling (voice & data).
  • 3+ years of relevant RCDD experience
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with network topologies, and IP network protocols preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
