About The Position

The Registered Clinical Dietitian at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Pittsburgh is responsible for planning and implementing dietary programs for patients of all ages, ensuring their nutritional needs are met as prescribed by medical staff. Requirements

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State to practice Dietetics.
• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified diets for patients as prescribed by medical staff.
• Routinely visit patients to assess their nutritional needs.
• Counsel patients regarding their dietary requirements.
• Participate in hospital, patient, and community education programs.
• Assist with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
