About The Position

This position provides support to make sure the office operates smoothly and stays in compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and building client relationships by assisting clients with deposits, distributions, account balances, online access, and other general requests. Other duties include account opening and maintenance of account files. Coordinate and communicate account alerts with Financial Advisor. Support to take SIE Exam provided. Training to obtain Series 7 and 66 securities licenses provided. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Investment Industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High School diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds SmartBank Core Values and Core Purpose.

  • Processes client request, documentation, and proper maintenance of accounts.
  • Provides investment education and information to clients such as tax consequences of distributions and liquidations, calculating and monitoring RMD.
  • Completes inbound/outbound client calls regarding investment account information, proxies, notices, prospectus information, rights offerings and additional notifications related to their investments.
  • Assists with processing of deposits and distributions from client accounts.
  • Works with Financial Advisor(s) to resolves account related administrative and operational deficiencies.
  • Works with Financial Advisor(s) to prepare outgoing marketing and other client correspondence.
