Their associates are the heart of everything they do. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Cardiac Sonographer for their Edgewood Cardiac Medical Village location. This is a Full-Time position, 32 hours/week, on the 1st Shift. Joining the team means being part of one of the top-performing health systems and employers in the region. The Registered Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiac studies on patients that support treatment and diagnosis of cardiac disease, and to perform, record, and report all Echocardiography procedures using sophisticated procedures requested. The role requires demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited (or accreditation eligible) cardiovascular ultrasound degree program and/or qualifying experience in accordance with IAC guidelines
  • Registered in non-invasive imaging with active status registry from ARDMS or CCI
  • New graduates will have 1 year after graduating to obtain registry
  • Advance use of Doppler-continuous wave, pulse, color flow
  • Ability to provide professional preliminary reports

Responsibilities

  • Performing cardiac studies on patients that support treatment and diagnosis of cardiac disease
  • To perform, record, and report all Echocardiography procedures using sophisticated procedures requested
