As a Registered Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform cardiac imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures, including EKGs and cardiac stress testing. You will also be on call for echoes and TEEs after hours as needed. You will perform Structural Heart Procedures and apply and process holter/event monitors. You will also need to know the imaging performed during the use of critical device interventions such as Impella and/or Angiovac. You will serve as a resource for other technologists, students, and hospital staff. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
