About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO). The position is PRN, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, and weekend coverage when needed, including holiday call. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiograms on both inpatients and outpatients. The role requires 1-2 years of experience with adult echocardiography, which is preferred.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years' experience with adult echocardiography (preferred).
• Associate's Degree in Allied Health/Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients.
• Conduct treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo, and cardiac doppler.
• Maintain accurate patient logs and update daily charges in the computer.
• Utilize cardiac lab menus in the computer and maintain cardiac lab patient files.
