About The Position

The Registered Branch Associate at Edward Jones plays a crucial role in supporting financial advisors and enhancing client relationships. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period
  • FINRA registrations are required within three months
  • State insurance licenses are also required
  • Ability to learn and apply legal and regulatory requirements related to selling financial solutions
  • Work independently with strong problem solving, critical thinking, and sound judgement
  • A resilient, creative and progressive mindset
  • Motivated to achieve results as an individual and team
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management

Responsibilities

  • Deepening relationships with existing clients
  • Gathering information and collecting suitability information to open new accounts
  • Researching portfolio performance, costs/fees, asset allocation, and making recommendations to the Financial Advisor
  • Executing Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirming with clients
  • Answering general client questions regarding Edward Jones Stock recommendations and withdrawals
  • Actively business planning and working as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies
  • Continually developing oneself to grow personally and professionally
