We are seeking qualified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to become a vital component of upholding this mission! Our team is composed of supportive individuals dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our clients and families, striving to maintain a collaborative work environment for the success of our practitioners and the work they are providing to our clients. We are currently seeking qualified part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-clinic Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. This position will be based in our state-of-the-art office in Winter Park, which features two-way mirrors, sand tray rooms, play therapy rooms, and much more. Unlike other companies, we have very little turnover, ensuring a stable and supportive work environment. Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior plans through in-clinic direct intervention. They will assist clients with day-to-day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate with clients and families. Other duties include clerical and administrative documentation, and supervision provided by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The role of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) includes providing behavior intervention services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders in clinic and school settings. RBTs will implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans created by and under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They are expected to collect and record data accurately, complete accurate treatment notes in a timely manner, and strictly follow BACB guidelines and codes of conduct at all times. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and other Mental Health Practitioners, is essential to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients. Supervision with a supervising BCBA will be required for 5-10% of total direct hours with each client, provided through Kinder Konsulting. Kinder Konsulting offers the ability to gain additional supervised experience for RBTs working toward BCBA certification, ensuring stability and consistency in training and supervision.
