About The Position

You’ll support children in developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills. We’re hiring entry-level candidates as well as certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are ready to grow their careers. As an RBT at BTS, you’ll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child’s home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you’re comfortable with, from toddlers to teens. Requirements

Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position
If you do not have an RBT/ABAT/OR BCAT certification, you must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment
Must maintain an active RBT/ABAT/BCAT as a requirement for continued employment
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 18 years of age
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
Background check (FBI & DOJ)
6 months of experience working or volunteering with children with intellectual disabilities is a must
Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification

Nice To Haves

Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
Spanish-speaking

Responsibilities

Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
