About The Position
Motivated Learners is a leading provider of behavioral therapy services dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions that promote skill acquisition, independence, and overall well-being. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist (Registered Behavior Technician - RBT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote positive behavior change and skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required, we can provide RBT certification support for those new to the field.
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong understanding of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a vehicle and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with clients based on individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies and techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress during therapy sessions.
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with families and other members of the treatment team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress and treatment plans.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
