About The Position

You will support students with their emotional needs and behavioral needs throughout the school day to include the classroom, specials, recess and lunch. In this position you will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students. Requirements

High school diploma required.
Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents along the autism spectrum/behavioral challenges.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to handle extremely difficult behavior.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field
RBT certification strongly preferred.
Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification.
Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided.
