Easterseals Crossroads is currently hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to work within a small ABA program where we are striving to change the look and feel of a typical ABA program. What you will be doing: · Provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis intervention to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in an early childhood program ages 2-8 receiving up to 16 hours per week (no 40-hour a week clients) · Create meaningful interactions and facilitate a naturalistic learning environment including play skills and social interactions within a 1:1 or classroom setting · Work within a small team of RBT’s and BCBA’s · Implement programming from behavior analytic curriculum such as ESDM, PEAK, and Socially Savvy under the direction of BCBA/BCaBA’s · Assist with creating materials for group and classroom activities · Communicate daily with parents, BCBA’s, and team members about caseloads and programming as well as managing consumer data · Collaborate with other departments within the organization as needed such as OT, Speech, and Physical Therapy · Receive a 30-minute lunch without clients · Participate in applied behavior analysis and other organizational trainings as required · Undergo training and implement crisis prevention training using Safety Care · Student supervision may be provided to those with 1 year of experience with a minimum of 90 days of employment · Opportunities to engage with other departments within the organization such as the IDEA Committee and Social Committee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
  • RBT credential in good standing required at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing direct behavioral services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other experience working with children is preferred.
