About The Position

The company seeks ABA Registered Behavior Technicians to teach young children affected by autism in a welcoming environment where leadership supports individual potential. Treatment involves direct work with children and families in their natural environments (homes, schools, centers) to teach essential skills like communication, sharing, playing, and waiting through fun, play-based activities. Butterfly Effects, established in 2005, is a national leader in autism treatment, employing over 100 BCBAs and 800 behavior technicians across 12 states, with a corporate office in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Their mission is to deliver family-centric applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to foster a more joyous life for families affected by autism spectrum disorder.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification
  • A love and Passion for working with children
  • Interest in learning
  • Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
  • Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
  • At least 3 weekdays w/ same availability
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families

Nice To Haves

  • College course work a plus
  • Someone very outgoing, energetic, and friendly

Responsibilities

  • Teach young children affected by autism
  • Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers)
  • Teach children how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills
  • Make sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities
