About The Position

At the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide direct, one-on-one behavioral therapy and interventions to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Requirements

Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.
Familiarity with behavior management systems and data collection procedures.
Experience working in a clinical or educational setting.
At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to support clients’ development and behavior management.
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA.
Promote and reinforce adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.
Provide direct care, including working on tasks related to communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.
Work closely with the BCBA to discuss treatment progress and client needs.
Participate in team meetings, providing input about the clients’ progress, behavior, and development.
Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on client progress and reinforce strategies at home.
Maintain RBT certification by completing ongoing training and education, as required by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Actively participate in training and supervision sessions with the BCBA to ensure fidelity in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
