About The Position
The Behavior Technician implements positive programming to increase students behavioral and academic skills. See attached full job description for details. Requirements
- Advanced degree from an accredited college preferred, or successfully pass parapro exam
- Knows and understands district and behavior services policies and procedures
- Is knowledgeable in a variety of group and individual behavior management systems and character education programs
- PMT trained, understanding crisis prevention and verbal intervention/de-escalation techniques
- Knows and understands how to document interventions appropriately using all state/district forms (preferred)
- Registered Behavior Technician Credential must be obtained within 100 days of employment.
