About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! NOW OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening! Generous RBT hourly pay rate of $30 per hour. Location: Boyertown Area School District (BASD). A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support. The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.

Requirements

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year.
  • Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB.
  • Current certification in both CPR/First Aid and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints).
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • National certification as an RBT - active.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with individuals with special needs (preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Completed 40 hours of RBT training under Edition Task List 2 who need onsite competency by a BCBA.

Responsibilities

  • Directly implement behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
  • Work with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs.
  • Implement crisis management plans as required.
  • Conduct complex verbal behavior programming.
  • Perform extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
