The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide applied behavior analytic services to clients aged 2-12 years. This role involves implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and assisting with assessments under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will work in various settings including home, school, and community environments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients and their families.

  • Provide 1:1 direct care to clients in home, school, and community settings.
  • Assist in the administration of skills assessments and functional assessments as directed by the BCBA.
  • Implement behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision by the BCBA and agency training.
  • Collect data to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all consumers.
  • Implement behavior plans/treatment plans as written by the BCBA.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA(s).
  • Meet with supervisory staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and seek support when necessary.
  • Utilize Catalyst to enter session notes at the end of each session.
  • Obtain continuing education courses/training hours per IBHS regulations (20 credits every year).
  • Perform varied administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field.
  • Registered as an RBT.
  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Demonstrated competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age and functionality.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Current on all required trainings/certifications (CPR and First Aid, mandated reporter, etc.).
  • Reliable and insured transportation in Pennsylvania (with record of insurance on file).
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills to work with a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with DTT programming and implementation.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
  • Ability to utilize a copier, phone system, laminator, and other office materials as necessary for the position.
  • Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions including during emergencies.
  • Ability to develop rapport and work productively with both clients and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
