Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position

Our team provides compassionate, individualized services for children and adults with developmental disabilities—and we’re growing! We’re looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and related conditions through home- and community-based services. As an RBT, you’ll work one-on-one with individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Your work will directly support growth in communication, independence, and social skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (or ability to obtain within 2 months)
- Valid Montana driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 1 month)
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check prior to employment
- Understanding of developmental disabilities, autism, and sensory needs
- Experience working with challenging behaviors
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written
- Independent, organized, and detail-oriented
- Flexible schedule and ability to adapt
- Comfortable with light physical activity and behavior redirection when needed
- Positive, respectful, and professional in all relationships
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized ABA therapy in homes and community settings
- Follow evidence-based treatment plans developed by an LBA
- Collect and record behavioral data
- Support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members
- Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate records
