About The Position

Academy ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and adults under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and provide direct support to clients to help them develop valuable life skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • For those interested in becoming an RBT, candidates must either hold a current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be hired as a Behavior Technician (BT) with the understanding that they must complete the 40-hour RBT training and obtain certification prior to starting the role.
  • Must be able to lift and support clients.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in a clinic setting.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior, skill progress, and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families, BCBAs, and other team members to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Provide support and encouragement to clients, ensuring a positive and engaging therapy environment.
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding client progress, needs, and behavior.
  • Attend and participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions.
  • Ensure all ABA services are delivered in alignment with ethical standards and professional guidelines.
