About The Position

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for a pediatric client in Hampton, VA.
This role offers a consistent weekly schedule supporting a young child while implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs play an essential role in helping children build communication, social, and early developmental skills.
Schedule
Monday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate
• Ability to work with pediatric clients ages 2–14
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Previous ABA therapy experience preferred
• Experience working with young children preferred (especially under age 4)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to a pediatric client
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
• Support communication, social, and early developmental skills
• Collect and document behavioral data accurately
• Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
• Maintain timely and professional session documentation
