About The Position

Now Hiring: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Part-Time / PRN Make an Impact with The Arc of the Ozarks Are you a passionate, experienced RBT looking to make a meaningful difference and pick up additional hours throughout the week? We’re hiring a Part-Time / PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support adults with significant behavioral support needs in our community. This role is ideal for an RBT who is already working in the field and looking for flexible, supplemental hours built around their availability. Pay Positions start at $23 per hour and increase based on experience. Requirements

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Experience supporting adults with high behavioral needs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing severe aggression in a safe and professional manner required.
  • Ability to remain calm, consistent, and confident in high-intensity situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct behavior support services to adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans under supervision.
  • Support individuals with significant behavioral support needs , including severe aggression.
  • Maintain safety while preserving client dignity.
  • Collect data and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Build meaningful, respectful relationships that promote independence and quality of life.
