About The Position
View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Social Services related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience in a social service-related field OR High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience in a social service-related position OR One year of experience at the lower-level Social Services Tech 2 (SST011) or position equivalent.
- High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience in a social services-related position; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Tech 2 (SST011) or position equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- BACB certified RBT
- Two (2) years' work experience providing social or direct care services to an individual or groups of individuals with special needs.
- Experience in ABA.
- Experience with severe challenging behaviors.
- Comfortable and proficient with collaborative & concurrent documentation.
- Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills.
