Aspire Educational Services is seeking Registered Behavior Technician committed to creating a nurturing space where children with diverse abilities can flourish. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior-analytic services for students. The RBT supports students with behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and learning needs by providing direct 1:1 or small-group interventions within the school environment. All work follows applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the student’s individualized behavior intervention plan (BIP) or IEP.

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in classrooms, resource rooms, specials, lunch, recess, or other school environments.
  • Collect continuous, accurate data on student behavior, skill acquisition, and treatment fidelity.
  • Use ABA strategies such as reinforcement, prompting, shaping, task analysis, functional communication training, and behavior reduction procedures.
  • Support students in increasing academic engagement, communication skills, independence, and social skills.
  • Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation using school-approved, non-restrictive practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), must have past the exam (not just 40 hours).
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with students with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, emotional/behavioral disorders, and developmental delays.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred not required.
