About The Position

ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral and instructional support to students across school-based settings. The RBT works under the supervision of a District BCBA and/or School Psychologist and plays a critical role in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), teaching prosocial skills, collecting behavioral data, and supporting students in accessing the learning environment successfully.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with students in special education or related settings.
  • Experience supporting preschool through middle school-aged students preferred.
  • Current Safety Care or equivalent crisis intervention certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to collect data, follow behavior protocols, and work under clinical supervision.
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting preschool through middle school-aged students preferred.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity and consistency.
  • Provide calm, patient, and consistent behavioral support to students with learning and behavior challenges.
  • Collect accurate, objective behavioral data and document student progress.
  • Use evidence-based ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, prompt fading, and antecedent modifications.
  • Support social skills development, peer interactions, and play-based learning.
  • Assist teachers and instructional staff with classroom activities and small-group or individual instruction.
  • Respond to student crises using de-escalation and regulation strategies while maintaining student safety.
  • Collaborate with school and district teams and maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance.
