About The Position
Ascend is a multidisciplinary company dedicated to providing Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy services to children in the format that suits them best. We also specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to support children with unique developmental needs. Our services are offered across diverse settings, including schools, home-based care, outpatient clinics, and inclusive preschools. We are excited to announce the upcoming opening at our Manteca outpatient clinic/preschool and are seeking a dynamic BT/RBT to join our expanding team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Experience working with children in ABA therapy, childcare, education, psychology, or a related field
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
- Reliable transportation & willingness to travel locally for in-home sessions
- Ability to pass a background check and health screenings
- Tech -Savviness: Comfortable with moderate use technology
- Ability to actively engage with clients, sit on the floor, go from sitting to standing unassisted and lift up to 50lbs. Physical ability to perform job duties (with or without reasonable accommodations)

Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children in clinic or school setting
- Implement ABA-based treatment plans designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote learning and independence
- Energetic attitude and desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data to monitor client progress
- Collaborate with families and clinical teams to ensure success
- Attend team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions
