Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one -on -one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in the Virginia Beach, VA area. This is a full -time position for an RBT who is reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering high -quality, evidence -based care. All new hires are required to complete paid onboarding and training Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the first two weeks of employment, regardless of their long -term assigned schedule. Services are provided in home and community -based settings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience providing ABA services preferred
- Full -time availability with schedule flexibility through 6:00 PM daily
- Availability to attend paid training Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the first two weeks of employment
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in home and community -based environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in active play
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
