Position Summary: Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Autism provides direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) goals for individuals with disabilities, primarily autism. Ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current RBT certification and annual certification renewal is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism, and their families preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides ABA therapy through reviewing individuals’ goals with BCBA and implementing individualized supports to achieve goals.
Communicates with team members regarding supports provided and regularly updates BCBA on individuals’ progress towards goals.
Completes documentation and ensures compliance with organizational, funder and accreditation requirements.
May provide additional supports as needed, including respite and social skills group sessions.
