About The Position

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), in addition to providing support in residential programs, assists in delivering behavior analytics under the direction of an RBT supervisor. This role involves providing support and assisting individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living, participating in delivering comprehensive behavior analytic services, and supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. The RBT will meet regularly with the RBT supervisor to review behavior plans and data collection, create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills, and provide services according to various regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or DSP Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.
  • Participate in delivering comprehensive behavior analytic services and support to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities.
  • Implement behavior interventions, assist in data collection, and provide data reporting on target behaviors.
  • Meet regularly with RBT supervisor to review behavior plans, data collection, and analysis.
  • Create opportunities and support individuals to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.
  • Provide services to individuals according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Provide support and assist individuals with all medical, clinical, and financial needs.
  • Transport and accompany individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  • Maintain required documentation according to applicable regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
  • Assist individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities in the community.
  • Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable.
  • Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, PABC, MAP, and Driver Safety.
  • Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
